The Yacht
Wind Shift is not your average yacht. As a Shipwright 70 designed by the renowned Laurent Giles and built by AMARC (TES) in the UK in 1990, she was never intended for casual cruising. Originally launched as the iconic John Laing, she was crafted with a singular purpose: to brave the world’s most challenging waters and provide life-changing expeditions.
Arrival & Departure
Our crew will officially assemble on 7 January (welcome to stay on yacht in Hobart) and on 8 Jan we’ll run through final checks and preparations, familiarise you with the yacht, systems and safety equipment and get you ready for departure from the dock around 11:30am. On arrival in Pittwater (on / around 13-14 Jan) we’ll have crew lunch and then disembark.
