NSW Boat Licence - Logbook Practical

NSW Boat Licence Practical (Logbook Only) This 4hr practical only ‘on-water’ assessment provides assessment you need to get your NSW Boat Licence. NSW Logbook requires a variety of activities to be completed – most three times each. Bookings are open to adults and kids aged 12 and upwards. Min 2 persons per course.

Description

You’ll need to complete a logbook (boat licence only)

The logbook is a simple, self guided checklist. You’ll need to tick off simple safe boating tasks such as:
– Checking the boating weather forecast
– Checking you have sufficient safety equipment
– Ensuring you are wearing a lifejacket

It’s just a matter of using the logbook checklist to keep your first few boat trips safe and get you into good, safe boating habits.

This does not have to be done before attending the course. In fact, you’ve got 12 months to complete what is essentially a simple boating checklist. And for those with prior boating experience, this can be backdated up to 12 months, assuming those trips can be verified by the person signing off.

Whilst there are some people that decide to just tick their logbook off, we encourage you to do it properly. You can pick up a copy at the course, at your local Service NSW or download at
