Powerboating Courses

This Australian Sailing Coure course is tailored for all sailors, instructors and coaches wanting to gain quaifications at sailing clubs, AMSA Coxswain Grade 3 and/or a for completion of NSW Recreational Boat Licence Logbook practical. The course is delivered by a 4 hr Theory Course (virtual) and a one-day Practical session (on-water). Base at Mosamn bay with Pickup/Drop in Rose Bay Marina or Elizabeth Bay Marina Wharf - 30mins prior (8:30am) - $15pp extra

This course provides the skills needed to support water-based activities at clubs, schools and outdoor recreation centres. You'll learn about racecourse design, practise on-water rescue of dinghies and gain an awareness of techniques to support kite surfers and kayaks.

This course provides advanced and intensive training in the practical skills, technical, navigational theoretical knowledge for small boat operators (<less than 10m). Day 1 (PB1) - As Powerboat Handling / NSW Boat Licence, Day 2 (PB2) - RYA Powerboat Level 2. We train on a 6.8m rigid inflatable rescue craft.

Freedom Boat Club - New Member Orientation [Private Course]

To teach powerboating up to the standard required to complete a short coastal passage by day. In essence this course aims to introduce those boaters who have previously stayed ‘close to home’ to travel that bit further and undertake short coastal passages.

Get Your NSW Boat Licence and PWC License with Atlas Maritime Training (AMT) and Maritime Training School (MTS) - $395pp. Option - Jetski Licence Course - Mosman - add $110pp (same day)
